- Represent a non-profit entity in the sale of their campus in Virginia Beach (nursing home and assisted living facility).
- Serve as outside general counsel to an entity that currently manages 43 facilities (assisted living, independent living and dementia) in 9 states.
- Served as outside general counsel and transactional counsel in the acquisition, operation and disposition of a 10-facility portfolio of Nursing Homes and the acquisition, operation and disposition of a CCRC facility in Michigan(nursing home, independent living, assisted living and home health agency) and 7 facilities in Pennsylvania (personal care facilities and dementia). - Represented assisted living operators, institutional investors and nursing home operators in transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions of multiple property portfolios, aggregating over $2 billion in value.
- Represented developers in the development of assisting living facilities and independent living facilities.
- Represented nursing homeowners in connection with various commercial lending matters including working capital financing secured by accounts receivable and HUD insured loans.
- Represented assisted living and nursing home operators in the negotiation of leases with multiple publicly traded Healthcare REITS.
