Experience

  • Coordinates the preparation of the medical and scientific defense and assists in the development of medical and scientific experts nationally for an asbestos supplier.
  • Routinely conducts depositions and examinations of expert witnesses for trial purposes.  
  • Drafts dispositive, Daubert and other expert motions throughout the country in state and federal court, including Strong v. Honeywell International Inc., No. 2:20-CV-0136-TOR (E.D. Wa. 2021).
  • Represents national product manufacturers, premises owners, and suppliers in asbestos litigation involving commercial and residential boilers, friction products, pumps, valves, joint compound, and other products.
  • Routinely assists in the defense of asbestos cases nationally, including preparation for direct and cross examination of experts.
  • Represents insureds in personal injury lawsuits involving premises liability.
  • Won summary judgment of an accidental death insurance action, and successfully defended against Plaintiff’s appeal to the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. See Blosch v. Transamerica Premier Life Ins. Co., 284 Va. 282, 726 S.E.2d 251 (2020).
